This seventy-five hundred square foot home is located on a one-acre site in the Murlands section of La Jolla. This Spanish-Mediterranean home has multiple height roof elements that soften its street presence in this older exclusive La Jolla neighborhood.

A two-piece mission roof tile material was used with a heavy mud set and over stack to give it an older look.

The front circular drive is partially concealed from the street with an ornamental iron fence and beautifully detailed gates.

The rear yard is dominated by a pool and spa that was of primary interest to the Owner because they have three young children and wanted the pool and rear yard to be the focal point of their outdoor activities.

The interior has all custom made stained windows and doors, many with unique radius tops.

The entry foyer has a dramatic two-story volume with a circular stairway leading to the Master Suite. The flooring throughout much of the Main Level is imported antique French pavers.

The Kitchen has furniture quality cabinetry with granite counter tops and a farmhouse sink. The Kitchen also has Mosaic tile murals in the backsplash under the custom-made stove hood.

A sunken tub in the Master Bath surrounded by a walk-in shower all covered in marble makes this room feel very elegant.
